| Danny Shittu |
The big defender headed the decisive goal to book Millwall an FA Cup semi final date with Wigan Athletic at the expense of Blackburn Rovers in Wednesday night's quarter final replay.
Shittu was on hand to meet Chris Taylor's 42nd-minute corner and plant a firm header beyond the reach of Jake Kean in the Blackburn goal.
Such was his delight, Shittu ripped his shirt off and was promptly booked by referee Mark Clattenburg.
The 32-year-old who is also the captain of the club will now lead the Lions to their Wembley date against Premier League opposition in the shape of Wigan Athletic.
Shittu shared his delight when he spoke to the club’s official website.
"We're delighted to win. I know it means we get through to the semi final but we haven't been winning many games and we didn't concede again which is good,” he said.
Millwall’s semi final game against Wigan Athletic will be played at the new Wembley stadium on April, 13.
